Overview
Over the past 40 years, I have had the privilege of representing a broad array of clients in the most interesting and challenging cases. It has been a hallmark of my career to achieve positive results in the face of tough odds and great adversity. As a litigator, I am steadfast in the pursuit of the most advantageous outcome for my clients, whether it be through mediation, arbitration, settlement or trial. Each case is different and presents its own unique challenges, but my approach has been consistent throughout. I utilize a combination of innovative legal strategies, common sense, sound judgment and relentless determination to obtain the best possible result.
Born and raised in Brooklyn, New York, I obtained a B.A. Magna Cum Laude, Phi Beta Kappa, from SUNY at Buffalo, then earned my J.D. degree at The George Washington University School of Law. In private practice since 1983, I have represented a wide variety of corporate and individual clients in a broad spectrum of business disputes. I have litigated complex commercial cases and appeals in various New York State and Federal courts. I have handled hundreds of securities arbitrations, as counsel for both claimants and respondents. I have litigated numerous employment-related disputes, including discrimination claims, and I have litigated a wide variety of real estate-related cases, including brokerage disputes. I have also handled many commercial and residential real estate transactions.
I am very proud of my accomplishments and my record as an attorney but also grateful for the opportunity to represent so many worthy people and causes. I look forward to handling your case the only way I know how – with intensity, care, personal attention, and the tools to win.
